Gregg Sanderson<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I am perceiving everyone, including myself, as an awakening being who is here to claim his or her birthright to the higher consciousness planes of unconditional love and oneness. ~ Ken Keyes, Jr<\/em><\/p>\n ********<\/em><\/p>\n This pathway is the antidote to judgment.\u00a0 Whenever I catch myself condemning that person who cut me off in traffic, the tax collector, or the Pope\u2014and anyone in-between, I access the Twelfth Pathway.<\/p>\n The key to understanding in this Pathway is the word \u201c\u2026awakening.\u201d We are all awakening beings\u2026not yet fully awake, so there\u2019s no possible reason to expect perfection. Yet we all have a birthright to the \u201c..higher consciousness planes of unconditional love and oneness.\u201d We just aren\u2019t there yet.<\/p>\n I also like the \u201c\u2026including myself\u201d part. It makes it much easier to live with my rare screw-ups.\u00a0 OK.. Maybe not so rare.\u00a0 It\u2019s still easy when I remove the personal requirement to be Saint Gregg.\u00a0 I can keep growing toward that state of unconditional love, even if I haven\u2019t reached it yet, and that\u2019s just fine.<\/p>\n I once heard a speaker proclaim his inability to relate to the idea of low self-esteem, because he had always had a positive self-concept. I realized he had nothing to teach me along those lines, because he had no idea how to get there.<\/p>\n I use the analogy of the wagon train scout in the days of the pioneers. He would be just a little ahead of the wagons so he could point out the rocks, water holes, and Indians. He wouldn\u2019t be of any value if he was already at the destination.<\/p>\n The speaker may be pompous and the scout may have questionable hygiene, yet both serve their purposes and are \u201c\u2026awakening beings\u2026etc.\u201d<\/p>\n This Pathway is especially useful in our daily encounters with the world.<\/p>\n It\u2019s much less stressful to think \u201cawakening being\u201d instead of \u201cidiot\u201d, \u201cjerk,\u201d or \u201cBozo.\u201d<\/p>\n Same goes for politicians, TV characters, and DMV clerks.<\/p>\n I recently posted a quote on Facebook by Thomas Jefferson, and one commenter invalidated the quote because Jefferson had slaves\u2026which had nothing to do with the subject.<\/p>\n Enlightenment doesn\u2019t happen all at once.
